Caregiver Needed for Child at private home located at Vancouver, BC, V5X 1L7
Position: Full-Time, Permanent job
Qualification: Minimum High School with some experience or training in child care.
Language requirement: English
The child is a boy of 5 years old.
Duties to be performed:
Monitor the development of the child and make sure that he is healthy and active. Capable enough to teach the etiquettes in a playful way and also discipline the child as per the parent’s requirement. Indulge him in reading and help in selection of books for the library. Prepare nutritive meals for the child and pack his lunch box and make him ready for the school as and when required. May have to drop and pick the child from school. Have to assist the child in changing clothes after coming from school as and when ever required. After lunch arrange some playful activities, make the child revise his school work and take him out for some outing in park and places as told by the parents. Monitor all activities and should never leave the child unattended.
The selected candidate shall be given C$13.35/hour. And overtime shall be paid after 40hr/week.
Experience: At least 6 months in relevant field

Job Duties:
Supervise and take care of both the children. Make meals and serve them, clean up after the mess, making them change for activities. May have to bathe and dress the younger child. Make a proper schedule of study, motivate them in developing the habit of reading; help in the selection of the books from the library. Indulge them in playing in door as well as out door games. Accompany them to parks. May need to accompany them to the activities and appointements, maintain safe and healthy environment in the house. Launder the clothes of the kids when ever requird and monitor their activities including usage of digital devices when parents are not at home. Report back to the employer (parent) if any unusual thing is observed. Take care of cleanliness so as to avoid slips and falls. Keep the walking area clean out of any obstruction.
Other Requirements
The candidate must be friendly and be able to converse in English. Should be cooperative and keep safety of the kids and self priority.
